Purposes and legal basis of the processing

Personal data processing carried out through www.isgi.cnr.it is exclusively related to navigation data received from the HTTP service (i.e. IP address, operating system and any other data transferred from client to server through the HTTP protocol).

The legal basis of the processing is contained in article 6, paragraph 1, letter e) of the GDPR where the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, as well as for scientific research purposes and analysis for statistic, didactic and administrative purposes. Personal data are also processed to improve our web services.

Personal data shall be processed lawfully, fairly, and shall be pertinent and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed by in-house personnel on instructions from the controller, pursuant to article 5 of GDPR.

Personal data are kept solely for the establishment of criminal offences by judicial authorities.

Appropriate security measures shall be implemented in order to protect personal data from accidental loss and unauthorized or unlawful processing.

Data subject rights

You have a number of rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, such as the right of access to your personal data, the right to rectification and erasure of your personal data, the right to restriction of processing and to object to processing of your own personal data, pursuant to articles 15-22 of GDPR.
