Italian EMN NCP National Conference, Rome, 6-7 October 2016

a cura di Maria Eugenia Cadeddu e Stefania Nasso

This initiative was promoted and organised by the Italian National Contact Point (NCP) of the European Migration Network (EMN). The EMN consists of Central Directorate for Immigration and Asylum Policies, Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration of the Ministry of the Interior, and of Department of Human and Social Sciences and Cultural Heritage of the CNR and the institutes under that Department. These are the Institute for the European Intellectual Lexicon and History of Ideas, the Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies, the Institute for International Legal Studies, the Institute for the Study of Regionalism, Federalism and Self-Government, and the Institute of Legal Information Theory and Techniques.

The main objective of the Conference was to present what has been implemented in Italy over the past few years in the area of reception and integration of beneficiaries of international protection, outlining future plans in a framework of interaction between all public and private stakeholders (Ministries, Regions, local authorities, and third-sector organisations)
